Professor

Sangsoon Lim received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 2013. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Sungkyul University, Anyang, South Korea. He has been with Samsung Research(Seoul, South Korea), as a senior engineer from 2013 to 2017. He has been involved in more than 10 mainstream projects in Samsung Electronics and made significant contribution in the global IT industry. From Aug. 2023 to Jul. 2024, he served as a visiting professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver. His current research interests are in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, wireless networks and mobile computing. He is serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, International Journal of Electronics, International Journal of Electronics Letters and IET Wireless Sensor Systems. He is also serving as a professional reviewer for numerous well-reputed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Access, IEEE Communications Letters, Journal of Network and Computer Applications(JNCA), Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience(CCPE), MDPI Sensors/Biosensors/Informatics/Electronics/Micromachines, Annals of Translational Medicine(ATM), Computers, Materials and Continua(CMC), Journal of Information and Communication Technology(JICT), Collnet Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management and so on.
